Tuesday, May 31st from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Classes meet every Tuesday at 6:00 pm for 4 weeks.

Even if you don’t have the word “designer” in your title, you’re already making design decisions. This class is for entrepreneurs presenting mockups, engineers building prototypes and those within a startup responsible for evaluating products. This four-session course will demystify the design process by covering basic principles of good design, critiquing real-world examples, and designing something from scratch.

Session I (5/31)

This session will cover the value and role of design in a startup and establish some basic principles of good design.

Session II (6/7)

In this session, instructors will apply the principles by evaluating various designs, both good and bad, including examples from volunteers in the class (that's you!)

Session III (6/14)

In this session, the students and instructors will design something from scratch and introduce an iterative approach toward the design process.

Session IV (6/21)

Here, instructors will dive into extended topics such as: how to get and give design feedback and how to work with designers.
